Big name concerts have been a part of the Southern California Fair for a very long time. This year is no exception and the lineup is truly Revved Up! All concerts are FREE with fair admission. If you prefer to be “pit pass close”, you’ll want to purchase a reserved seat for only $10. All shows begin at 7:30pm with gates to the arena opening at approximately 6:30pm. You can purchase your reserved seat to any of the five concerts by either clicking on the “ticket” button on this site or by calling the fair office at 951-657-4221.

The first in the five night concert series is sure to be a hit! The series will kick off with a big one! Raven Symone will appear Monday, October 9th.

Raven, star of the Disney Channel’s original comedy series, That’s So Raven, began her acting career at the early age of 3. Her big break came when she landed a spot on the popular Cosby Show. Raven has also made a mark in movies and can be seen in such hits as Princess Diaries 2, Dr. Dolittle and Dr. Dolittle 2.

Although she enjoys acting, she has always wanted to sing. At age 5, she told her father she wanted to record an album. She became the youngest artist ever to sign a recording contract with MCA records. Her latest record, This is My Time, shows off her amazing talent.

“This is a concert the whole family will enjoy. We are thrilled to have an act like Raven appear at the fair,” said Vince Agnifili, Fair CEO.

Tuesday’s concert will be one for the funny bone! Just announced, popular comedian Carrot Top will take the stage to entertain and keep the series revved up! “Everyone loves to laugh and Carrot Top is an excellent comedian,” commented Agnifili.

Beginning his comedic career on college campuses, Carrot Top is now one of the top comedians in Las Vegas, staring for an astonishing 15 weeks per year! Son of a NASA scientist, he has a degree in marketing which has proven useful as his career has taken off. Carrot Top (a.k.a. Scott Thompson) is a true original and one-of-a-kind. You won’t want to miss this show!

The third concert in the series is sure to have fans racing their way to the show. Hitting the stage Wednesday, October 11th will be Reo Speedwagon

Classic rock fans will remember the album Hi Infidelity which sold over 10 million copies. The album, released in 1978, has continued to be one of rock’s greatest. Hits like “Time for Me to Fly”, “Can’t Fight This Feeling”, “Keep on Loving You” and “Roll with the Changes” are just some of their most requested tunes.

“With “Rev Up the Fun” as our theme, we couldn’t wait to get Reo Speedwagon on the roster. Not only are they a perfect fit, their music is timeless,” remarked Agnifili.

Country star Phil Vassar will entertain the crowds on Thursday, October 12th. Celebrating his newest album “Greatest Hits, Volume 1”, it’s sure to be an amazing show.

Phil has been writing songs for a long time. In fact, his first bout with success came from other country stars recording his songs. Chart topping hits by Jo Dee Messina including “Bye, Bye” and “I’m Alright”, as well as Tim McGraw’s versions of “My Next Thirty Years” and “For a Little While” brought attention to the songwriter. Phil got the opportunity to record his own songs when he signed with Arista Records.

Three albums later, he produced “Greatest Hits, Volume 1”, a compilation of his hits, both the ones recorded by other stars and those he recorded himself, such as “The Last Day of My Life”, “Twenty One” “Just Another Day in Paradise” and “Carlene”. “Phil is an amazing artist and we are really looking forward to having him perform at the fair,” commented Vince Agnifili, Fair CEO.

The final show of the 5 night concert series will feature Christian artist Jeremy Camp.

Jeremy’s album Stay produced 6 number one hits including “I Still Believe” and “Walk by Faith”. His unique style covers swelling power ballads, rock and roll pile drivers and stadium filling anthems. Restored, his second album should prove to be as popular as his first.

The 2006 Southern California Fair Concert Series is ready to hit the track, put the pedal to the medal and Rev Up the Fun! This year’s lineup is filled with nitro burning shows, speaker thumping tunes and souped up fun! So don’t put on the skids, get your reserved tickets early as they are limited! General seating is free, but not guaranteed.
